Board of Directors
Directors serve on the Board in a variety of capacities, and as a leadership team, we work together to organize activities and roles compatible with each member’s interests and schedules. Members of the Board represent the organization within the community and help raise funding through programming and networking. We are seeking people with innovative ideas, strategic and tactical connections, and a strong commitment to helping the LGBTQ+ community within New Mexico.
If you have any questions about the application process, or to receive an application to become a Director, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Facilitators at U-21 act as role models and chaperones to a group of great kids at weekly Friday night meetings (which include games, fun activities, educational seminars, crafts, and generally being supportive) as well as occasional weekend events. We work with all of our Facilitators to ensure their level of commitment fits well with their interests and available time.
U-21 participants reflect a spectrum of race, religion, socio-economic backgrounds, and gender and sexual identities. Because many participants are minors, we do insist that Facilitators be at least 24 years old and agree to a background check (at no cost to you). If you have any questions about volunteering or would like an application to become a Facilitator please contact us at: email@example.com
