U21 meets every Friday night from 7:00 to 9:30 at the Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living, 2801 Louisiana NE.It meets in the youth room in the basement of this social center
two blocks north of Menaul and blocks from Coronado Mall, ABQ Uptown,
&
Winrock. Enter on the west side of the building off the parking lot.It is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersex,
queer, and questioning youth under 21 and their allies under 21.This is a youth space. It is largely a social time with some
planned events and sessions, such as arts & crafts, poetry,
information on
the community, films, dances, workshops, field trips, etc. There are
trained adults there to facilitate the group and assist as needed.
Come join us for a road trip in western New Mexico where we will explore the El Morrow Monument and a barbecue in a park, then at dusk we will walk to a bat cave and experience bat flying out the the evening. We will leave sometime in the morning and get back to ABQ sometime in the evening. Tony Medina, Mr Pride 2009, is hosting a show at the 4th Street Nightclub. The show starts at 9 pm to 11:30 pm. There is a $10 cover. Proceeds to support Albuquerque Pride. The Albuquerque Kings Club, along with All the Kings Men, United Court of the Sandias Royalty, and Former Pride Title Holders, will be hosting a benefit show at Sidewinders Sunday, August 30th 8:30 pm.

We will have a continental breakfast for those interested. Saturday evening we will have a barbecue and a bonfire. If there is enough interest, we might go to the San Antonio hot springs. All are welcome to camp out Saturday night. For those that do camp out we will have a full breakfast Sunday AM. Sunday we can do another hike. If you need a tent, we have one that someone can use.

Equality New Mexico in collaboration with the New Mexico Religious Alliance for Inclusion and Non-Discrimination has called a faith community gathering at St. Michael-All Angels Church to move lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights forward in NM.
We would like you to join us for an evening of connecting with other faith communities regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights. We will be hearing stories from community members and faith leaders about their experience on creating inclusive and non-discriminatory practices.
Bring your favorite board or card game or play ping pong for a fun evening with friends. Bring an appetizer or snack food to share. Soft drinks will be provided. Games starts at 7 pm.
