On Ash Wednesday we will enter into one of the most important seasons of the church year - the "40 days" of Lent. The word "Lent" comes from the Anglo-Saxon word lencten, or Spring, the time of year when the days begin to lengthen.Lent is one of the most important seasons of the church year because it is a time in which  we reflect on our lives and our relationships to discover and change what we must to prepare for Easter and experience the spiritual renewal that comes when we focus on our spiritual life.

Here you can find your spiritual expression in many forms such as music, contemporary readings, and dance. An open communion will be given and music will be lead by our Praise Teams. This service also includes a Children & Youth Program. After service you will have an opportunity to socialize in the Celebration Hall; refreshments are provided.

First Monday of every month: The Wilde Bunch, NM's only LGBTQS Square Dance Club, hosts a free square dance open house. ASDC, 4909 Hawkins NE, 7 to 8PM. Come dance and socialize in a non-drinking, smoke-free environment; we'll show you the moves. Jim 505-232-2140, http://wildebunch.org 

March 4th's Nob Hill Nights theme is Body, Mind, and Spirit - with spring on the horizon we'd like to highlight the fact that Nob Hill has some of Albuquerque's best businesses and organizations geared towards the well being of the Body, Mind, and Spirit.

Spring is a time for renewal and shaking off the sluggishness of winter.

Preview art from community partner Casa Esperanza's upcoming 8th annual Art For Hope auction, and visit participating business and organizations in Nob Hill hosting open houses, demonstrating services and offering specials. Live music and entertainment will be featured at local restaurants and clubs.5-9pm

 Potluck at 7 pm and meeting at 8 pm   If coming for the potluck bring an entrée, salad or dessert to share.   Location: 1605 Lafayette Drive NE.  Two blocks west of Carlisle,   one block south of Indian School.
