As part of Harwood Art Center's October Gender Transgression & Identity show a free screening of "Assume Nothing" will be presented in conjunction with the 8th Annual Southwest Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
"Assume Nothing" focuses on teh art, photography and performance of five 'alternative' gender artists of Maori, Samoan-Japanese, and Pakeha-European descent. "Assume Nothing" poses the questions: "What if 'male' and 'female' are not the only options?" "How do other genders express themselves through art?"
The Harwood Art Center is located at 1114 7th Street NW, Albuquerque - at the corner of 7th & Mountain.
