Description
Our concert theme is Vignettes of Christmas. A vignette is a short, impressionistic scene that focuses on one moment or gives a trenchant impression about a character, an idea, or a setting. Here are our four vignettes:
* The Bells: Songs that evoke the most memorable sound of the season: Bells!
* The Mother and the Baby: Semi-sacred Christmas music that focuses on the intense mother-child relationship of Mary and her baby.
* 'Tis the Season: Music that paints images of winter and the seasonal feelings it brings.
* Christmas Gaiety: Some Christmas silliness in a scene of being together and laughing together.
