The Nature of Reality
An original stage play about the conflicts of sexuality, politics and religion.
It explores the penalty of trying not to love someone while being desperate to conform. Filled with nonstop twists and turns, it will keep audiences riveted from the first scene to the last.
Mayor Exodus Martinez is living the good life. His rise in the polls, his adoring wife Loni Martinez, and campaign manager/mother, Drucilla Martinez has given him much to be thankful for. He has a gorgeous home in the suburbs of Albuquerque, NM and plenty of adoring republican/tea party friends. While he sets his sights on running for a second term in office his former lover, Bailey Schaefer comes home from New York City to visit for the Christmas holiday. Exodus' world begins to unravel as unresolved feelings begin to resurface.
Questions arise and tensions flare while Drucilla does everything in her power to sustain her son's ultra conservative, Christian aura. Somehow the secret of their former hidden romance suddenly gains media attention and Loni seems to be left devastated - or is she?
