With the festival approaching a call for screening committee members is now underway. Ever wonder how the festival’s diverse films are selected? Ever seen a great film and wished you could be part of the process that brought it to the screen?
Here’s your chance—the Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival has a few openings left on this year’s screening committee. The positions, will work as part of a group to screen all submissions to the festival and, using an established ratings system, help decide which films will screen in 2012.
If you feel you have the taste, time and skills to help shape this year’s festival, sign up now! As a committee member, you will be an integral part of one of the largest GLBTQ events in the Southwest. And next fall, when your friends are raving about a SWGLFF favorite, you can proudly boast that you helped bring it to New Mexico.
