A respectable audience turn out for Closing night at the Southwest Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. People enjoyed the US Premier of the film Stuck!, at the Kimo with actesses Mink Stole & Jane Weidlin in attendance. Then they joined in the Closing Night Gala at 100 Gold Lofts, partied with the special guests, nosh on the treats prepared by several noted restaurants and learned of the films awarded with the audience awards.
The Southwest Gay & Lesbian Film Festival Audience Awards for 2009:
Best Short: Get Happy
Best Women's Short: U-haul Rap
Best Men's Short: Curious Thing
Best Documentary: Edie and Thea: A Very Long Engagement
Best Feature: Patrik, Age 1.5
