President Obama signed the defense authorization bill, which has the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act attached to it.
I still find it more than ironic that major LGBTIQ legislation is attached to a bill funding an organization that by law discriminates against LGBTIQ people!
