For 23 years, the Emergency Project has helped prevent homelessness for low income New Mexicans living with HIV/AIDS. On a "last resort" basis, we provide rent assistance or help pay a deposit for a new housing situation when a client is forced to move due tp a hostile or dangerous environment.
Emergency Project payments also allow clients to maintain utilities without interruption, or prevent further complications from HIV/AIDS by making medical and perscription co-payments for required medical regimens..
