Destination Q was founded in February, 2009 to bring more Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex tourists to the Albuquerque area. The mission of Destination Q is to promote Albuquerque, our diverse attractions, cultures, cuisine and businesses to the GLBTQ traveler as a year-round gay and gay-friendly tourist destination.
We encourage our visitors to experience the diversity and many rich cultures and activities in gay friendly Albuquerque and the Land of Enchantment. Our residents and visitors have many activities from which to choose. Below are some of our upcoming events, both GLBT and mainstream that may be of interest to you.

Destination Q is looking for artists to submit a logo for the group to us in promoting Albuqureque as a LGBTIQ tourist destinantion. See the contest info & rules here.
Destination Q, Albuquerque is conducting a logo contest with submissions due July 10, 2009. The winning logo (or logos) will be used for a variety of media for the promotion of Albuquerque as a GLBTQ travel destination and will represent a variety of member businesses and organizations. The winner will be announced on July 24, 2009.
The final logo will potentially be used in print ads, outdoor, brochures, postcards, TV, video, and other promotional materials. As such, logo submissions should be versatile and be able to be used in both b/w and (full and/or spot) color.
