Steve Ridlon
(He/Him/His)

A 29-year Albuquerque resident, Steve Ridlon ​previously served on the Common Bond board and organized a Community Advisory Committee for the Under 21 Group (now U-21). Along with Mary Oishi, he was instrumental in establishing the Safe Zone Project in Albuquerque Public Schools. As a volunteer, Steve has operated the HIV Emergency Project for 13 years.

Dylan P. Lutey
(He/Him/His)

Dylan is an estate planning attorney with Hedrich Law, P.A., and has been with the Board since April 2019.  He attended the University of New Mexico, where he graduated with a double major in Economics and Spanish.  Dylan earned his law degree in 2017 from the University of New Mexico School of Law and was sworn into the New Mexico State Bar the same year. Dylan lives in Albuquerque with his girlfriend Madalyn and their two dogs, Tre and Po.

Ben Gerstner

Ben is a PhD Candidate at the University of New Mexico and joined the Board in Feb 2020. Transplanting to New Mexico for school he is committed to helping to support the LGBTQ+ community that has welcomed him here. ​

Mark Solomon

Mark returned to Albuquerque in 2014 after a 37-year absence teaching in Phoenix and England.  He does lots of volunteer work at a food bank and pantry, a thrift shop, tutoring young children, and SAGE.  He also likes to be involved with the Democratic Party in his neighborhood.

Riss Koupf
(They/Them/Theirs)

I am Riss Koupf LCSW and my pronouns they/them. I've been living in Albuquerque, New Mexico for about 2.5 yrs after moving here from Philadelphia. I am a licensed clinical social worker/therapist in Rio Rancho and an artist. My primary focus in my career is supporting LGBTQ individuals and I've joined the Board of Directors of Common Bond to continue supporting our community on a community level.

Patti Fernandez, Ph.D.

Patti (she/ella) is a clinical psychologist, who also trains therapy students and works with substance use disorders and related mental health issues. She is originally from Monterrey, Mexico but spent a large part of her life in El Paso, Texas and is now a proud Albuquerque resident. She recently joined the Board and is passionate about advocating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Liz Ames
​(They/Them/Theirs)

Liz Ames has lived in Albuquerque since 2017 after a five-year stint in the Air Force doing logistics and supply work. They have been volunteering with the
​U-21 Youth Program since early 2018 and have recently taken over as program director. They also enjoy spending as much time as possible with their girlfriend, Selena, and dog, CT.

Selena has very happily lived in Albuquerque since 2016. She has been volunteering with U-21 since 2021 and has started a LGBTQ+ book club for the participants. She spends her time reading, painting, bugging her partner, Liz, about horror movies, and spoiling their dog, CT.

Latasha Hagan

Latasha is a HRM Senior Processor for the USDA Forest Service. They are originally from Houston, Texas, but moved to beautiful Albuquerque from Boulder, Colorado two years ago. In their spare time, Latasha loves caring for their cat John and sharing laughter with friends. They’ve recently joined the board to help build and support the LGBTQ+ community with experience from PFLAG Beaumont and Beaumont Pride.
