Proceeds Will Substantially Help Us Meet Client Needs This Year

Friday night, April 21 st , UNM Truman Health Services and Albuquerque Pride presented the 2023 HIV Glowalk fundraiser at EXPO New Mexico with dancing, games, a costume contest and outstanding drag performers. The net proceeds of $7,552.00 were awarded to Common Bond’s HIV Emergency Project. For 34 years, the Emergency Project has provided last-resort financial assistance to low-income New Mexicans living with HIV/AIDS. This infusion of funds will greatly help us meet client needs this year.

In 2022, we dispersed over $97,000 for rent, utilities, medical bills, eyeglasses and other necessities of life. Through June 2023, we have already provided $59,918 to folx in critical financial need.
